Admission Counseling In India

Most colleges and universities over the world require students to clear Scholastic Aptitude test or SAT. Students take the test at least once in their lifetime to get admission in the renowned colleges. The colleges and universities set a cutoff marks mainly to achieve score for admission. India has a number of institutes devoted to SAT coaching. The courses and classes are designed to provide extensive guidance to aspirants at a pocket friendly price.

This nationally-recognized college entrance exam tests the students’ ability to rationally reason. The test involve the assessment of reading, writing, and mathematics abilities, as the college board sets a score for the students , the students need to score the scaled marks based on the performance of other students on the same test and  in the particular testing period. Each of the three sections should be scored independently on a scale of 200-800. The highest cumulative score a student should score requires a perfect 2400.

SAT is not an easy test; it is an exam that requires proper guidance and serious practice.  In fact, it has been seen that the SAT score provides a large impact on students as it decides where one goes to university and the amount of money he may receive as scholarships.  However, coaching classes available throughout the country provide exclusive instructions to the students which make it manageable for them to take the test easily. Besides coaching, the institutes excel in admission counseling too.

As students always remain in stress due to the pure length of the test, they need counseling to build confidence and also need proper counseling for applying to colleges. The students get information on the availability of scholarships and which college and university to apply.  In addition to that students get guidance on when to fill up the forms and in which way.

Coaching centers play a vital role in many ways. SAT is a long duration exam that has a span of three hours and forty-five minutes. It is broken down into ten sessions, including a 25-minute essay section.  Many students find it difficult to take the test for so long and thus they need appropriate supervision and tips to tackle the exam.
